The FILAC thermometer is a fully automatic, lightweight thermometer that features 30-35 second readings, a large clear LCD temperature display with an automatic display check at the beginning of each reading. An "auto-off" feature turns the thermometer off after 5 minutes and an audibel signal indicates the end of the temperature reading. A lithium battery has an estimated 3-year life.
